My Granfather just passed away and at age 80 he enjoyed listening to Talking Heads - I was able to take him to see David Byrne live this year in Spokane. After leaving the hospital this trak was playing and it said everything I needed to hear. This exemplifies the love I had for him and the love he shared with his family. Thank you David for easing the pain!

Quintessential Love Song

A lovely, happy piece of music. This song always makes me smile, or cry, and puts a spring in my step. It reminds me so much of my beloved wife, Kari; hers is the kind of love that this song epitomises so well. This song speaks to my soul. I play bass guitar, and I love the synth bass riff that pins this song together. It's got a great groove. I was unaware that other musicians had covered it; I will definitely give them a listen. I am glad I checked out this review page.

not that i'm gonna die anytime soon, but this song says so much with so little, it works for me both as a romantic love song and speaks about my relationship with the world, makes my cry most every time i here it!

I have always enjoyed this song very much, even when other bands play it, but it wasn't until very recently that my girlfriend sent me the lyrics and I actually put things together and realized how perfectly this song sums up the feeling of love that we share. Amazing.

The Heads all switched out, and played instrumnents they had little failiarity with. Hence the "Naive" in the title.
Check the book "What the Songs Look Like." Its a bunch of contemporary artists interpreting what they think various Heads songs look like !

This song is a work of beauty and genius, a testimony to Byrne's talent. The SCI and Cornmeal (great new-grass band) also do amazing takes on it...which is another indication of the strength of this tune!

This song is THE love song for all time. It stands the test of time and covers all bases. It says everything that ever needs to said about a person that you love. All you have to do is l*i*s*t*e*n to the words. If you have ever felt this way about another human being, you are one of the luckiest people alive. Stop and hang on for the ride!
